About Me
Jessica Andrewartha is a Seattle based writer, mom, tech worker, dog lover, and well-intentioned houseplant killer. Her short fiction is a finalist for the 2023 Dream Foundry Contest, and has appeared in Wyldblood Press, Utopia Science Fiction, and Every Day Fiction.
For the better part of a decade before writing prose, she wrote plays. Her science fiction play Choices People Make won the Neukom Institute inaugural Literary Arts Award for Playwriting. Light Delay was workshopped at Free Spirit Theatre in the UK in 2019 after receiving a staged reading at UC, Davis and a workshop at Parley Productions in Seattle
